Contract Position

1) MULTIMEDIA PROGRAMMER GRED F41
 
 
Key responsiblities:
Responsible to design, develop, manage and monitor innovative digital products such as websites, flash-based websites, video, mobile apps, animations, interactive portal and others.
 
Reporling line:
Report to Head of Information Technology and Corporate Services Manager.
 
Qualities:
Imaginative, self-learning, creative problem solving, innovative, team player, analytical, meticulous, able to multi task and work under tight deadline, independent, collaborative, proactive and good interpersonal skills with a sense of responsibility.
   
 Qualification and Skills :
bullet Candidate with Degree in Creative Multimedia, Computer Science or Software Engineering.
bullet Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
bullet Experience in developing online databases, mobile apps or other online platform is an added advantage.
bullet Has an eye for design and has ability to use Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
bullet Experience in developing, customizing and enhancing web application using PHP programming language and MySQL & SQL Server databases.
bullet Strong programming skill such as PHP, MySQl, HTML, Ajax, jQuery, CSS, Flash, Javascript or C++
bullet Able to use Joomla 3.x , WordPress, others CSM as well as extensions, plugins, modules of Joomla, WordPress, other CSM
bullet Familiar using Linux and windows server.
bullet Excellent oral and written communication skills both in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
   
Remuneration :
Salary is determined based on qualification and working experience. Starting salary is at RM2315.00. In addition to the basic salary, appropriate allowances amounting RM900 will also be paid.

Working hours from 8.30am – 5.30pm from Monday – Friday. Basic training and coaching will be provided.

2) ANALYST GRADE C41 – FULL TIME, CONTRACT POSITION
 
We are looking for individuals with critical thinking skills and passionate in using science for the betterment of society.
 
Key Responsibilities:
Analyse, interpret data and write reports for ASM studies.
 
Your key task on a normal day include:
- Performing STI intelligence and horizon scanning
- Managing STI research projects (which include data gathering, analysis and presentation)
- Writing evidence-based advisory and consultancy reports
- Preparing narratives or graphical forms of data that yield valuable insights to ASM stakeholders
- Coordinate and assist in managing research projects
 
Qualities:
An ideal candidate has strong appreciation of social, economic, and geo-political issues that influence regional STI developments, possesses good analytical, research and communication skills and a positive attitude.

A team player, dynamic, meticulous, able to work under tight deadline and multi task, independent, resourceful, self-motivated, entrepreneurial and has good interpersonal skills.
 
Qualification and Skills:
- Candidate with Hons. Degree or Masters in Science or Engineering or Science Policy related programmes
- Candidate with experience in applied mathematics, data mining, statistical analysis and modelling, and databases are encouraged to apply.
- At least 3 year(s) of working experience is required for this position. Experience in research related field would be an advantage.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia both oral and writing.

3) RESEARCH ASSISTANCE FOR ASM STUDIES GRADE C41 – FULL TIME, CONTRACT POSITION
 
We are looking for motivated individuals with or without experience but passionate in using science for the betterment of society.
 
Your key tasks on a normal day include:
Research on information including desktop research, surveys, interviews, literature reviews, comparison study etc.
Gathering, analysing, evaluating, organising and synthesising information as well as presentation of data and ideas.
Brainstorming, attending meetings and writing minutes and reports. Correspond with stakeholders and coordinate meetings and workshops.
 
Qualities:
Dynamic, proactive, confident, able to work under minimal supervision and tight deadlines, multi task, consistent, self-motivated, team player and has good interpersonal skills.
 
Qualification and Skills:
- Candidate with Hons Degree in Science or Engineering or Statistical programme.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia both oral and writing.
- Strong analytical skills and resourceful.
- Ability to synthesize information and present ideas.
- Excellent working skill with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Candidate with experience as research assistant is encouraged to apply.
