The Aim of the MAKNA Cancer Research Award is to promote cancer research among young scientists. | | Eligibility
Application is open to all Malaysians citizens with a basic degree and aged below 40 years. Projects are to be carried out in Malaysia and must be completed within a 2-years duration. Total fund requested must be less than RM 30,000 for each project.
| | Research Award
The total allocation for 2010 is RM100,000.
| | Application procedure
All application should be made on the application form, which can be obtained from the Academy of Sciences Malaysia and the website.
| | Deadline of Application
The completed form should be submitted before 31 July 2010 to the following address: Academy of Sciences Malaysia

All applications received will be reviewed by a Selection Committee appointed by the Academy of Sciences Malaysia.
| | Presentation
After completion of the project, award holder must submit a report (within 3 months) and also present their findings at a suitable forum in Malaysia (within 1 year).
| | Disbursement
The award will be disbursed through the name of the candidate's institution.
| | Intellectual Property
Research findings should be jointly and equally owned by the researcher, the institutions and MAKNA. |
