Held from 25 August until 9 November 2020, VNSC was recognised as one of the Signature Programme of Minggu Sains Negara, an initiative by MOSTI. This year\u2019s VNSC theme was \u201cTowards a Pandemic Resillient Community Through Science\u201d.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">In total, 1,027 teams took part in the Preliminary Round before the top three teams from each state qualified for the second round: video competition. Among 47 participating teams at the Second Round, six teams were chosen by the Judges to compete in the Grand Final on 9 November 2020.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">After a neck-to-neck battle in the Grand Final, SMJK Jit Sin, Pulau Pinang emerged as the Champion of the 2020 VNSC and brought home the Prime Minister\u2019s Challenge Trophy, ASM-VNSC Educational Award worth RM 6,000, a laptop and a certificate of achievement for each student.
