On 2 January 2025, the STI 100^3 programme was held at Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) by the Pusat Pengajian Sains Kesihatan (PPSK) of USM. The programme involved a YSN-ASM member, Dr Tan Suat Cheng.

The programme was participated by 38 students from Class 4D of SMJK Chung Hwa Kota Bharu. This instalment of the 100^3 programme included a talk and a visit to Galeri Interaktif Sains Perubatan (SPICES).

Another STI 100^3 programme was also held at SK Tasik Cini, Pekan, Pahang, on 9-10 January 2025. This instalment of the programme was participated by 95 students.
A talk on biodiversity was presented by ASM Fellow Dato’ Dr Mohd Tajuddin Abdullah FASc, alongside Associate Professor Ts Dr Muhammad Abdul Latiff Abu Bakar (from UTHM) and Associate Professor Dr Zaleha Kassim (from IIUM). Other activities held during the programme included essay writing, drawing, interactive activities, and quizzes that revolved around the topic of biodiversity.
The STI 100^3 programme was resumed this year in alignment with Prime Minister YAB Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim’s call to cultivate interest in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM). MOSTI, via ASM, has identified several scientists who will travel throughout the country to promote and disseminate science in their respective fields.
So far, the implementation of the STI 100^3 programme has improved students’ interest in interactive STEM learning as well as introduced them to career and higher education prospects in various STEM fields.
