[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]In conjunction with ASM\u2019s 25th<\/sup> Anniversary next year, the ASM Fellows\u2019 Lecture series has been rebranded as FAScinate\u2122. FAScinate\u2122 is a play on the word \u201cfascinate\u201d combined with \u201cFASc\u201d, the abbreviation for Fellow of the Academy of Sciences Malaysia.<\/p>\n

The ASM Fellows\u2019 Lecture series, brings new Fellows and their research topic front and centre to the public eye. FAScinate\u2122 features a refreshed format, transitioning from a formal lecture-style presentation into a more casual engagement, to bring science closer to the community.<\/p>\n

Befitting the title itself, FAScinate\u2122 is a platform for Fellows to give back to the community in terms of knowledge, via brief yet impactful presentations. Bearing the tagline \u201cOpen Mind, Spark Ideas\u201d, FAScinate\u2122 aims to inspire the public to open their minds to the width and breadth of science and technology.<\/p>\n

The inaugural FAScinate\u2122 was held on 12 November 2019 at the Asian International Arbitration Centre (AIAC) Kuala Lumpur.
