[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]The 2022 YSN-ASM Colloquium was held from 16 to 18 December 2022. This year\u2019s Colloquium celebrated the 10th<\/sup> year of YSN-ASM establishment.[\/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”4526″ img_size=”full”][vc_column_text]On the first day, various activities were planned to strengthen YSN-ASM members\u2019 connections through programs such as introducing new YSN-ASM members and affiliates and briefing on YSN-ASM working groups.[\/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”4522″ img_size=”full”][vc_column_text]The second day of the 2022 YSN-ASM Colloquium started with insights from ASM CEO Puan Hazami Habib that focused on the latest STIE landscape and the expectations of YSN-ASM\u2019s way forward.[\/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”4520″ img_size=”full”][vc_column_text]The Colloquium then proceeded with an interactive forum titled YSN-ASM Past, Present, Future: Voices of our Pioneers. The forum featured panellists who shared their experiences gained during their membership with YSN-ASM and their aspiration for the future of YSN-ASM.[\/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”4519″ img_size=”full”][vc_column_text]Thirty-two new members and 13 affiliates of YSN-ASM were also welcomed during the Colloquium. They were formally introduced at the YSN-ASM 10th<\/sup> Anniversary Dinner on 17 December 2022, which celebrated the ten-year journey of YSN-ASM.[\/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”4518″ img_size=”full”][vc_column_text]During her Presidential Speech, ASM President Professor Emerita Datuk Dr Asma Ismail FASc highlighted that YSN-ASM members were urged to materialise and thrive as Changemaker following the ASM Strategic Plan 2021-2025. Therefore, they need to be mission-oriented in harnessing science for a better future for humanity and the planet.[\/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”4524″ img_size=”full”][vc_column_text]Wrapping up the 2022 YSN-ASM Colloquium, YSN-ASM members had the chance to have a dialogue session with young academy representatives from Thailand, Indonesia, and South Africa. The session focuses on sharing each academy\u2019s experience leading their respective academy, impactful projects, and vision for the future.[\/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”4525″ img_size=”full”][vc_column_text]The eight working groups of YSN-ASM also had a get-together to exchange views and address the strategies for the 2023 activities.
