This comprehensive training series comprises ten courses designed to cover the fundamentals, development, and implementation of IoT technology in the context of biodiversity.<\/p>\n<p>On 18 September 2023, the first training session, covering the topic \u201cData Science and Artificial Intelligence (AI)\u201d, was held at the Universiti Teknologi Malaysia Kuala Lumpur led by <a href=\"https:\/\/profile.upm.edu.my\/nurfadhlina\">Associate Prof Ts Dr Nurfadhlina Mohd Sharef<\/a>, co-lead of Precision Biodiversity Technical team.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.akademisains.gov.my\/experts\/profile\/bae0019\/\">Dr Helen Nair FASc<\/a>, the Precision Biodiversity Task Force Chairperson, who delivered the opening remarks, highlighted that \u201cASM is highly committed to setting Planetary Health as the foundation of policymaking for the Nation and fully supportive of the PBD programme as an important cog in the wheel to meet SDGs Planetary Health challenges, as well as to enable Malaysia to be a progressive, inclusive, prosperous and resilient nation.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The programme saw active participation from 28 individuals, comprising members of the Precision Biodiversity Alliance and the PBD Technical Team.
