[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]ASM hosted a courtesy visit from the Ministry of Finance Vietnam<\/a>, led by Dr Le Thi Thuy Van<\/a>, the Vice President of the National Institute of Finance (NIF). The primary aim of their visit was to gain insights into Malaysia’s effective methods of mobilising financial resources for infrastructure development, including Malaysia’s digital transformation efforts.<\/p>\n

Puan Hazami Habib, CEO of ASM, shared about the Malaysia Science Endowment<\/a> (MSE) as an integral component of the national policy, serving as a funding source for research and development (R&D). In the context of the Malaysia Open Science Platform<\/a> (MOSP), there is an emphasis on sharing raw data from experiments, including failed experiments. This approach aims to conserve funds and prevent the unnecessary replication of experiments.<\/p>\n

The discussion provides valuable insights for NIF to gain perspective on Malaysia’s infrastructure and financial strategies.
