ASM in collaboration with the National STEM Association organised a talk session titled Project STEM 60:40: Way Forward on 26 November 2024.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

ASM CEO Puan Hazami Habib shared insights into the STI and STEM landscape in her presentation titled \u201cGlimpse & Way Forward STI.\u201d There is an ongoing collaboration between ASM and the Ministry of Economy<\/a> to conduct the National Education Reform Study, which aims to restructure the national education system for the future of Malaysian children. This Education Reform is expected to be realised during the implementation of RMK-13 to RMK-15.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

This discussion was further supported by Professor Emeritus Dato\u2019 Dr Noraini Idris<\/a>, President and Founder of the National STEM Association<\/a>, who emphasised the association\u2019s role in driving change, advancing the nation\u2019s STEM agenda, and its significance in the current landscape.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

The session received an encouraging response, with participants and representatives from various agencies such as SD Guthrie Berhad<\/a>, The Plastics & Rubber Institute Malaysia<\/a>, PULAMI UPSI<\/a>, and others in attendance. Both panellists agreed on the importance of strategic collaboration and radical reformation to achieve a greater impact on the development of the nation\u2019s STEM and overall education system and ensure the future generation has a brighter future and more inclusive access to education.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
