This statement is for\nall parties involved in the act of publishing (the editor, the reviewer, the\nauthor and the publisher). It is based on the Committee on Publication Ethics\n(COPE) Best Practice Guidelines for Journal Editors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Duties of the Editors<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n Publication decisions<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n The Editor-in-Chief of\nthe journal is responsible for deciding which of the submitted articles should\nbe published. The Editor-in-Chief may be guided by the policies of the\njournal’s Editorial Board and constrained by such legal requirements as shall\nthen be in force regarding libel, copyright infringement and plagiarism. The Editor-in-Chief\nmay confer with other editors or reviewers in making this decision.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Confidentiality<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n The editors and any\neditorial staff must not disclose any information about a submitted manuscript\nto anyone other than the corresponding author, reviewers, potential reviewers,\nother editorial advisers, and the publisher, as appropriate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Fair play<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Submitted manuscripts\nare evaluated for their intellectual content without regard to race, gender,\nsexual orientation, religious belief, ethnic origin, citizenship, or political philosophy\nof the authors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Disclosure and conflicts of interest<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Unpublished materials\ndisclosed in a submitted manuscript must not be used in an editors\u2019 own\nresearch without the explicit written consent of the authors. Privileged\ninformation or ideas obtained through peer review must be kept confidential and\nnot used for personal advantage. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Duties of the Reviewers<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n Contribution to editorial decisions<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Peer review assists\nthe Editor-in-Chief in making editorial decisions and, through the editorial\ncommunication with the author, may also assist the author in improving the\nmanuscript.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Promptness<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Any invited reviewers who feel unqualified to review the research reported in a manuscript or knows that its timely review will be impossible should immediately notify the Editor-in-Chief so that alternative reviewers can be selected.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Confidentiality<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Any manuscripts\nreceived for review must be treated as confidential documents. They must not be\nshown to or discussed with others except if authorised by the Editor-in-Chief.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Standards of objectivity<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Reviews should be\nconducted objectively. Personal criticism of the author is unacceptable.\nReferees should express their views clearly with appropriate supporting\narguments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Acknowledgement of sources<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Reviewers should\nidentify relevant published work that has not been cited by the authors. Any\nstatement that an observation, derivation, or argument had been previously\nreported should be accompanied by the relevant citation. A reviewer should also\ncall to the editor’s attention any substantial similarity or overlap between\nthe manuscript under consideration and any other published data of which they\nhave personal knowledge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Disclosure and conflict of interest<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Privileged information\nor ideas obtained through peer review must be kept confidential and not used\nfor personal advantage. Reviewers should not consider manuscripts in which they\nhave conflicts of interest resulting from competitive, collaborative, or other\nrelationships or connections with any of the authors, companies, or\ninstitutions connected to the manuscripts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Duties of the Authors<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n Reporting standards<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Authors reporting\nresults of original research should present an accurate account of the work\nperformed as well as an objective discussion of its significance. Underlying\ndata should be represented accurately in the manuscript. A paper should contain\nsufficient detail and references to permit others to replicate the work.\nFraudulent or knowingly inaccurate statements constitute unethical behaviour\nand are unacceptable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Originality and Plagiarism<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n The authors should ensure that they have written entirely original works, and if the authors have used the work and\/or words of others that this has been appropriately cited or quoted. The journal only allows up to 15% similarities of plagiarism check via Turnitin or any similar plagiarism checking system. Authors are advised to attach the plagiarism report together with their submission. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Multiple, redundant or concurrent publication<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n An author should not, in general, publish manuscripts describing essentially the same research in more than one journal or primary publication. Parallel submission of the same manuscript to more than one journal constitutes unethical publishing behaviour and is unacceptable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Acknowledgement of sources<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Proper acknowledgement of the work of others must always be given. Authors should also cite publications that have been influential in determining the nature of the reported work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Authorship of a manuscript<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Authorship should be limited to those who have made a significant contribution to the conception, design, execution, or interpretation of the reported study. All those who have made significant contributions should be listed as co-authors. Where there are others who have participated in certain substantive aspects of the research project, they should be named in an Acknowledgement section. The corresponding author should ensure that all appropriate co-authors (according to the above definition) and no inappropriate co-authors are included in the author list of the manuscript and that all co-authors have seen and approved the final version of the paper and have agreed to its submission for publication.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Hazards and human or animal subjects<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n If the work involves\nchemicals, procedures or equipment that have any unusual hazards inherent in\ntheir use, the authors must clearly identify these in the manuscript. If the\nwork involves the use of animal or human subjects, the author should ensure\nthat the manuscript contains a statement that all procedures were performed in\ncompliance with relevant laws and institutional guidelines and that the appropriate\ninstitutional committee has approved them. Authors should include a statement\nin the manuscript that informed consent was obtained for experimentation with\nhuman subjects. The privacy rights of human subjects must always be observed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Disclosure and conflicts of interest<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n All authors should disclose\nin their manuscript any financial or other substantive conflict of interest that\nmight be construed to influence the results or their interpretation in the\nmanuscript. All sources of financial support for the project should be\ndisclosed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Fundamental errors in published works<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n When an author\ndiscovers a significant error or inaccuracy in his\/her own published work, it\nis the author\u2019s obligation to promptly notify the Editor-in-Chief or publisher\nand cooperate with the Editor-in-Chief to correct or retract the manuscript.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Duties of the Publisher<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n In cases of alleged or\nproven scientific misconduct, fraudulent publication or plagiarism, the\npublisher, in close collaboration with the Editors-in-Chief, will take all\nappropriate measures to clarify the situation and to amend the article in\nquestion. This includes the prompt publication of an erratum or, in the most\nsevere cases, the complete retraction of the affected work. The publisher and the Journal do not\ndiscriminate on the basis of age, colour, religion, creed, disability, marital\nstatus, veteran status, national origin, race, gender, genetic predisposition\nor
