May 11, 2022[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]The ASM ArtScience™ Initiative partnered with the National Art Gallery to participate in the Asia-Europe Meeting (ASEM) Cultural Festival on 26 November 2021. This international event was organised by the Asia-Europe Foundation (ASEF) together with the European Union and Ministry of Culture and Fine Arts of Cambodia (MCFA).
The event showcased ArtScience-based programmes in Asia and Europe, particularly in Malaysia, Indonesia, the United Kingdom and Netherlands. Through this event, ASM ArtScience™ and the National Art Gallery had conducted an online webinar. Six prominent panellists who are experts in combining the elements of art and science in their works were invited for the discussion during the webinar session.[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]The ASM ArtScience™ Initiative’s involvement in the ASEF Cultural Festival is important to increase the visibility of the Art and Science concept in the region. The event provided an opportunity for participants to expand their network among the international speakers and to identify initiatives around the world within the field of art and science. Moving forward, ASM ArtScience™ Initiative will collaborate further with these artist-scientists to produce impactful artscience-based actions in problem solving.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
