WEHAB++ Committees

WEHAB++ Committees cover Water, Energy, Health, Agriculture and Biodiversity, Blue Economy, Talent Development, Environment, Digitalisation and Climate Change & Disaster Risk Reduction Committee. The reestablishment of WEHAB++ Committees was proposed by the ASM Council to address the challenges of each of the WEHAB++ areas from different perspectives. These 10 areas have a profound effect on the way we live, our interaction with the natural world, and indeed the future of mankind itself.

The WEHAB++ Committees can proactively identify the country’s needs and priorities in relevant areas. This is done by conducting studies or developing papers dealing with cross-cutting issues related to national interests.

In addition, these committees provide strategic input, feedback, comments and views for matters related to each committees’ field. The ASM Expert Network and external experts work together to explore ideas, research concepts and develop a Concept Paper for STIPAC approval.
