April 27, 2023MOSP is an initiative launched to collect and consolidate raw research data that are valuable national assets in one platform that enables data sharing and accessibility following the FAIR principle (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, Reusable).
Outcomes
- 40 data stewards were trained for Data Stewardship on Open Science.

201 data stewards have been trained as of 31st December 2022.

Training is also branching out to domain specific modules. For example, ASM training modules were adopted into the FAIR Biodiversity Data Stewardship Project by Universiti Malaya.
One of the challenges was to increase the completion rate of the Training for Data Stewardship on Open Science programme. MOSP recorded an average of 60 percent completion rate in 2022. By allowing a higher number of participants to register, chances to reach a higher percentage will increase. MOSP added a variety of speakers and expanded the dissemination level to increase its outreach.
