Dr Ahmad Hanif Ahmad Baharin and the team from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) won the ASM ArtScience Prize 2020 with the project titled Tropical Breathing the Waves.

Digital-Tropical is a project that converges the analogue data and the digital flow into ‘reality analogical’ between the historical resonance of the past with the wave of current technology. In a sense, this project is shifting between factual data analysis into artistic representation, thus giving new artistic meanings to a scientific research.
