Congratulations to ASM Fellow Professor Dato’ Dr Jafri Malin Dato’ Abdullah FASc, officially appointed South Asia Representative for the Global Brain Consortium (GBC). This prestigious appointment was made during the GBC Annual Meeting 2024. The role acknowledges Professor Dato’ Dr Jafri Malin’s substantial contributions to neuroscience and his leadership in advancing brain research within the South Asian region.
On 6-8 September 2024, Prof Dato’ Jafri Malin had the honour of joining the General Assembly of GBC and participating in the heartfelt celebration of the 100th anniversary of the Electroencephalogram (EEG). The programme was marked by the annual conference, which brought together leading experts in computational neuroscience, neuroscience methodology, and experimental neurosciences.
