ASM President Strengthens International Ties at Global Science Gathering

Continuing the 20^th Annual Meeting of Science and Technology in Society (STS) Forum agenda, ASM President, Academician Datuk Dr Tengku Mohd Azzman, was involved in the Academy of Science Presidents’ Meeting on 2 October 2023.

With the theme of “Recovery and Conservation of the Ocean’s Ecosystems and Biodiversity”, the meeting was attended by 16 Presidents of Science Academy around the world in a discourse to showcase the potential for science and technology to lead toward a brighter, more sustainable future for the oceans and the life they sustain.

A bilateral meeting also has been held between ASM President and Japan Science & Technology President, Dr Hashimoto Kazuhito. They both exchanged insights, ideas, and perspectives that aimed at forging strategic partnerships and collaborative ventures. The meeting was a testament to the commitment of both nations to foster international partnerships and promote the exchange of knowledge and expertise.
