Malaysia Science Endowment Partners with UK to Boost International Research Collaboration

The Malaysia Science Endowment (MSE) is set to play a crucial role in advancing international research collaboration, matching the United Kingdom’s International Science Partnership Fund (ISPF) on a 1:1 basis for grants. The UK government is offering the ISPF worth £218 million (RM1.3 billion) for low and middle-income countries to support research and innovation projects.

ASM proudly stands as a key collaborator, working alongside the British Council Malaysia as the delivery partner for the ISPF Fund in Malaysia. This strategic partnership aims to position research and innovation as central pillars of UK-Malaysia international relationships, empowering researchers and innovators to collaborate globally.

The fund focuses on critical themes such as resilient planet, transformative technologies, healthy people, animals and plants, and tomorrow’s talent, ensuring that both nations can address pressing global challenges through joint efforts.
