The ASM 2026 IdeaXchange, Planet-Friendly Business: Stories of Purpose and Impact, brought together thought leaders, industry players, innovators and sustainability advocates to explore how businesses can respond to today’s environmental and economic challenges through practical, purpose-driven solutions.
Organised by ASM, with support from Friends of Sustainable Malaysia (FoSM), the event was held on 4 June 2026. It featured several sessions that explored in depth the relationship between business operations and environmental sustainability.
A key highlight was business owners sharing personal experiences, speaking about their journeys in establishing enterprises that place environmental responsibility, waste minimisation, and sustainability at the core of their business values.
Overall, the programme served as an important platform for reflecting on how businesses can grow more responsibly in line with today’s sustainability needs. It also reinforced the importance of collective action in shaping a future in which economic progress and environmental responsibility can advance together.
