Puan Hazami Habib, CEO of ASM, today delivered her keynote speech for the 6th edition of the Asian Science Deans Summit (ASDS) that was organised by Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM). This edition involves Deans of Science from 12 Asian countries such as Japan, Korea, Palestine and the Philippines.
In her keynote titled “Evolutionising STIE Landscape in Malaysia”, she highlighted that Malaysia recognises the need to frontier STIE to overcome unprecedented crises while working towards building a knowledge-based high-tech nation driven by a wholesome and fertile STIE ecosystem.
ASDS is the annual meeting that provides a platform for networking and collaborating between science faculties in universities throughout Asian countries. This summit welcomes all deans, deputy deans and administrators of science faculties to participate in various discussions and sharing sessions to strengthen the quality of education, research and public engagement of their respective institutions.
