Bridging the Gap, Fostering Leadership in Cancer Research
TYAN-YSN International Thematic Workshop
TWAS Young Affiliates Network (TYAN), the Young Scientists Network-Academy of Sciences Malaysia (YSN-ASM) and Higher Education Leadership Academy (AKEPT) have co-organized a TYAN-YSN International Thematic Workshop from 30 October to 1 November 2018.
This year, the sophomoric workshop is titled “Bridging the Gap, Fostering Leadership in Cancer Research”.
According to chairperson of this year’s workshop Dr Cheong Sok Ching, the workshop is a great platform to showcase the recent and ever-evolving developments in cancer research particularly in drug development, precision medicine, and digital technologies.
These developments afford an abundance of opportunities for young scientists to develop their talent and to work together to address the challenges related cancer survival.
