Professor Dr Koh Chong Lek FASc is a prominent figure with over 50 years of experience as an educator and researcher in the fields of genetics, molecular biology, and biotechnology in Malaysia, Singapore, Japan, and Europe. His expertise is also recognised by international bodies such as The Royal Society of London. He is also known as the “Father of DNA”. Recently, he has been recognised by the Genetics Society of Malaysia through the award of the PGM Zakri Award 2023.
