International Women’s Day @ ASM

The involvement of women in technology can generate more creative solutions and has greater potential for innovation that meets the needs of women while promoting gender equality. ASM supports efforts to empower women in the technology sector for the development of the country and society.

In conjunction with International Women’s Day (IWD), the Academy of Sciences Malaysia today celebrated the female members of the agency. Each member has been given a red rose that signifies their beauty, courage, and passion. This year’s theme of IWD is “DigitALL: Innovation and technology for gender equality”, which focuses on leveraging digital tools to empower women and promote their participation in various fields.
