ASM Fellows Recognised at National Academic Award Ceremony

Several ASM Fellows have been given prestigious recognitions at the 14^th Anugerah Akademik Negara.

Professor Emerita Datuk Dr Asma Ismail FASc (ASM President) and Professor Datin Paduka Dr Khatijah Mohamad Yusoff FASc (Senior Fellow and ASM Council Member) were awarded the Tokoh Akademik Negara award.

Professor Datuk Dr Asma and Professor Datin Paduka Khatijah are prominent figures in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM), with a focus on microbiology and medical microbiology.

In addition, ASM Fellow Professor Ir Dr Nor Azuan Abu Osman FASc was awarded the Product Innovation and Commercialisation Award at the same ceremony. Professor Ir Dr Nor Azuan is an ASM Fellow under the Engineering Sciences discipline group, with a specialisation in Biomechanical Engineering and Rehabilitation Engineering.
