May 15, 2022On 4 April 2022, the Academy of Sciences Malaysia signed two project grant agreements with two companies under its i-Connect initiative.
The first project is on conducting research and commercialisation activities of a Robo Advisor for Smart Shariah-Based Decision Making in Islamic Financial Institutions under Fintech in the Islamic Finance sector. The project is spearheaded by SKILIK Robo Advisory Sdn Bhd in collaboration with Universiti Malaysia Kelantan and a local Islamic Bank.
The second project involves research and commercialisation activities of Premiumization of Halal Nutraceuticals towards Therapeutic Claims (Kaempferia Parviflora) under a halal supply chain sector. This project is spearheaded by Medika Natura Sdn Bhd in collaboration with the Institute for Medical Research and Universiti Malaya.
