On 22 June 2023, the Malaysia Open Science Platform (MOSP) received the “Recognition of Excellence Award” from OpenGov Asia.
This award recognises the initiatives and efforts of the organisation at the forefront of digital transformation to improve the lives of citizens with online and digital cutting-edge services.
The award was presented to Puan Hazami Habib, CEO of the Academy of Sciences Malaysia (ASM).
MOSP launched on 16 May 2023, is a data-sharing platform for raw research data. It aims to collect and consolidate Malaysian research data, a valuable asset in one platform. The initiative was kickstarted by the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MOSTI) and managed by ASM.
In the same event, Puan Hazami Habib presented “Malaysia’s Next Lap Forward: A Nation Driven by Science, Technology, Innovation, and Economy” for the Malaysia OpenGov Leadership Forum 2023.
Puan Hazami shared how STIE will give people the power to develop a country and its quality of life.
