The month of October was welcomed with a fascinating Webinar on Citizen Science from Malaysia’s Perspective, livestreamed from The Academy of Sciences Malaysia (ASM). The webinar was hosted by Academician Professor Dato’ Seri Dr Mazlan Othman FASc, the Director of ISC-ROAP whom delivered a keynote speech on Citizen Science in Space Sector. The panellist involved are Dr Nadine Ruppert, Ms Nadhirah Mohd Rifai and Mr Tan Choo Eng. Panellist discussion involved the Successes, Challenges and Potentials of Citizen Science Projects. This Webinar showcase how Citizen Science has changed the relationship and communication between science and society, particularly in Malaysia.
