On March 31st, The Science, Technology and Innovation (MOSTI) Minister YB Khairy Jamaluddin shared his view in the UNESCO Virtual Ministerial Dialogue on COVID-19 and Open Science.
During the Dialogue, YB Khairy Jamaluddin described current initiatives taken by Malaysia to control the pandemic and emphasized the urgent need of creating an international repository not only for medical purposes but also for the development of technological innovation. Data sharing is important to develop applications relevant to the control COVID-19 crisis, such as contact tracing application and diagnostic kit development.
