ASM CEO Briefing for MOSTI Secretary-General on ASM Initiatives

On 26 March 2025, ASM CEO Pn Hazami Habib gave a special briefing to the Secretary General of MOSTI, YBhg Datuk Seri Hj Hasnol Zam Zam Hj Ahmad.

Pn Hazami provided a comprehensive briefing to the Secretary General on ASM’s role as the nation’s premier think tank in science, technology, innovation, and engineering (STIE). She expounded on the current STIE landscape of Malaysia and several ASM initiatives, such as the Malaysia Science Endowment (MSE), the Malaysia Open Science Platform (MOSP), the Science Outlook reports and the ASEAN Ahead report.

Additionally, the briefing highlighted ASM’s strategic input to projects such as the National Education Reform, which earned the trust of stakeholders such as the Ministry of Economy. Following the briefing, the Secretary General provided his input, which will be refined and considered to strengthen ASM initiatives.
