The environment is often overlooked in the pursuit of economic development and prosperity. In fact, many have no idea how interconnected human life is to its environment and how our actions contributed to climate change. The COVID-19 pandemic has taken the lives of 4.1 million people worldwide, while leaving 90 million living under the poverty line in 2020. This mas made us realise that preservation and rehabilitation of the environment is important and the need to balance it with socioeconomic development. This webinar was organised to educate the public on the importance of public health for future generations.
